Mrs. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, multilingual social worker. She has more than 13 years' experience working in nonprofits. She's worked across a range of groups such as LGBTQ+ people, substance users, as well as survivors of violence from intimate partners. Since the beginning of 2019 the Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. She is now offering telehealth mental health services. The therapist Ms. Rivas belongs to the Behavioral health Perinatal team who work with pregnant as well as postpartum women. She is trained in trauma-informed and adult EMDR. Additionally, she provides private and group therapy, medication-assisted treatment and referrals for specialist care as well as Women's support groups.
